OneDrive for Windows Phone Updated with Improved Work File Sharing

OneDrive for Windows Phone has received a small but important update today that allows you to more easily share work files with colleagues from the app.  The update, version 4.8.0.0 for those keeping score at home, only lists this addition as the changes in this version versus the previous build which brought several improvements including PIN locking.  In order to use this new feature you must be using an OneDrive for Business account through your organization.

It’s been a busy couple of days for OneDrive.  Along with this enhancement to OneDrive for Windows Phone, the overall service gained the ability to stream music from your OneDrive account to your Windows powered devices yesterday.

OneDrive for Windows Phone is a free app and requires a free OneDrive account.  That free account will get you 15GB of free storage in the cloud but if you sync up your camera roll photos with the service you will gain an additional 15GB for free.  To sign up for OneDrive just go here.
