BLU is running another sale today over at the Amazon store front and the BLU Studio 6.0 HD LTE is one of the highlights. Today you can pick up the 6″ Android phablet with its 13MP camera, 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM for only $206.84. That’s a savings of just over 26% off the regular price of $279. This is the full blown LTE version too which will work here in the United States on T-Mobile and while it will work with AT&T, you will likely only get HSDPA+. It’s a great price for a device that is loaded with the specifications of this phone and certainly one to consider if you are looking for a big screen, budget minded phone.
The BLU Studio 6.0 LTE will come with KitKat installed but the Lollipop update for this device has already been released by BLU so you can get the latest-and-greatest Android pretty much out of the box.

Be sure to check all the deals out over at the BLU store on Amazon. Personally I have the BLU VIVO IV and have been quite pleased with it. While it isn’t my day-to-day phone, it certainly is up to the task and as I put in my review, the camera quality out of the BLU devices are outstanding.
I just purchased this phone and I really like the design, features and hardware of Blu Studio 6.0 LTE. However, the LTE only works with T-Mobile and NOT AT&T. It has to do something with the LTE bands implemented on its chip. Upon testing I found the following:
The SIM Slot 1 would run full LTE on T-Mobile but only runs AT&T’s 3G/4G HSPA+.
The SIM Slot 2 would only run the 2G/GSM/EDGE network whether I use a T-Mobile or AT&T SIM card.
I live in the New York City area where LTE bands are prime. So I felt deceived that both SIM slots would run LTE or 4G/3G/HSPA+ for that matter. The SIM Slot 2 is really a disappointment with its ancient technology.
I hope they would update this phone to Lollipop 5.0 and not just remain in KitKat 4.4.2.
I’m just curious if HTC’s Dual SIM phones operate the same way: only one SIM Slot works on LTE bands.

Yes, this behavior as I understand it is normal and in fact most devices on the 2nd slot are only HSDPA.
