If you have been waiting to get your hands on a Nexus 6P but have run into the particular color/storage combination being out of stock, today would be a good day to head back to the Google Store. All color options and all storage size options are in stock with factory out-the-door times on new orders currently pegged at 1-2 days. This is a substantial improvement over there not being any stock for some flavors or 3-4 week delivery times at the beginning of November.
For those that don’t remember, you can get the flagship Nexus 6P in three color options (Aluminium, Graphite and Frost) and three different storage size options (32GB, 64GB and 128GB). Do note that the Frost option is only available in 64GB and 128GB. Prices start at $499 for the 32GB units while the 128GB version will set you back $649.

Nexus 6P Ordering Generally Considered Successful Based on Previous Nexus Launches
While there were certainly long delays and stock constraints on the Nexus 6P when it launched in October, generally most feel that this launch has been far more successful than previous Nexus

device launches. Google had a fair amount of stock of both the 6P as well as the Nexus 5X and while they did run out like most expected, it wasn’t as quickly. Like any manufacture, Google had to hedge bets a bit to make sure they didn’t over commit and have too much stock. For the most part, I think they got it right.
The hardest variation to get has really been any of the 128GB models but in particular the aluminum/128GB configuration has been particularly tough to get. If you are wanting this particular combination I would suggest ordering sooner rather than later to make sure you get it and to make sure your delivery times are not delayed significantly.
Finally, to remind everyone, the Nexus 6P and the Nexus 5X both come with Android Marshmallow installed and both are Project Fi compatible. In fact, you can sign up for Project Fi when you order your new Nexus if you are not already on the carrier.
