Good news for those of you with the Huawei Honor 8.  The Android Nougat update has been released for the phone and is rolling out to users via an OTA update.  The update will bring all of the things you expect with Android Nougat but it also includes the EMUI 5.0 user experiences to the phone.  This new version of Huawei’s Android experience has been well received on other devices and comes with their newly announced machine learning technology built into it.

The update for the Honor 8 is just over 2Gb in size so you will want to make sure that you are on Wi-Fi to download it.  Once you have it, the install process will take about 20 minutes and a reboot is required.

Today’s Deal is a great deal on one of the top phones for 2016.  The Honor 8 is being sold unlocked so it will work with any GSM carrier here in the US like AT&T and T-Mobile.  It has a 2.3GHz octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of storage (expandable up to 256GB with the MicroSD slot).  The Honor 8 has a 5.2″ display, fingerprint scanner and a 12MP dual-camera rear shooter.
