The Microsoft To-Do app has a new update rolling out that brings support for hashtags and improved readability of reminders in tasks.  The update is version 1.26.58 for those keeping score at home and has rolled out to the Play Store.  If you have it installed, you should get the OTA update over the course of the next few days.

The big new feature is hashtag support.  Now you can use them in your notes for tasks and can search for those hashtags later.  Think of it as tagging of notes, something that other apps have done for a while now.

The Microsoft To-Do app has an important update rolling out this morning that brings a handful of fixes and improvements.  The updated build is version 1.18.40 for those keeping score at home and is primarily focused on performance improvements and bug fixes.

The biggest improvement is around TalkBack, the screen reading Accessibility feature in Android.  Users with multiple lists would not be read the list name or the correct one in the last version of the app.  That has been fixed now and you will have your list name vocalized as it should be with this update.

Reminders have also been updated to where you can now get them down to the second.  Why you would need a reminder at specific second I’m not so sure, but hey, it’s there now if you need it.

Microsoft has released a significant update to the task management app, Microsoft To-Do, for Android.  The updated build is version 1.11.29 for those keeping score at home and brings some nice improvements and new features.

First, and for those who have managed accounts (like Office 365) you can now add those accounts to To-Do.  Previously, the app would only work with @Outlook.com or @Hotmail.com accounts which was fine, but if you want to have all of your information within your Office 365 account, you couldn’t do it.  In order for this feature to work, you must have To-Do enabled on your account which is something that your administrator will need to do if you can’t sign in with your managed account credentials.  Also keep in mind that if you are adding a managed account, permissions to your Contacts will be required for it to work properly.

The ability to integrate with Office 365 accounts was something that the company said would be coming when the announced the original preview of Microsoft To-Do back in April.

Microsoft To-Do, the daily task manager that was born out of the company’s acquisition of Wunderlist back in 2015, has a new update rolling out that brings a host of improvements.  The update, version 1.8.23 for those keeping score at home, fixes several issues with the task management app but also brings a new Quick add feature to the notification areas of your Android phone.

The new Quick add feature, when enabled, will put a notification for To-Do in the notification area on your phone.  By tapping it, you can quickly create a new task which is added to your list in the app.  All of this can be done without actually opening up the app itself.  By default, this new feature is not enabled.  If you want to enable it, go in the app to the menu, tap your avatar then find the Quick add notification setting in the General settings.  Toggle it on and you are good-to-go.
