The all singing and dancing Blackberry Priv is now available and the initial reviews of this Android device complete with a physical keyboard are pretty good.  As is usually the case when a new phone is released, any special software bits and wallpapers are stripped out by the developer community for everyone to enjoy and the Priv is no different.

Over on the Mobile Wallpaper page I have posted all five of the stock wallpapers that come with the Blackberry Priv.  These, along with the over 100 others, are completely free to download and you can do it either from your Android device, PC, Mac or Chromebook.

Without a lot of fanfare or hoopla, Google quietly celebrated the 7th birthday of Android.  On September 23, 2008, Android 1.0 made its debut with T-Mobile G1, also known as the HTC Dream making it commercially available for the first time.  To celebrate the release of the mobile operating system 7 years ago, Google has released 3 celebratory wallpapers which you can download for your device.  All three feature a sweets-and-treats them, as you would expect, and come in a shade of blue, white and black backgrounds.

Earlier this week at IFA in Berlin, Huawei announced the Mate S, a new 5.5″ Android phone that has some pretty impressive specs.  If you are looking for an overview, the team over at Android Central have put together a great first impressions post on it.  One of the things that is really impressive about the Mate S are the wallpapers.  They are gorgeous and I’ve manged to get all of them for your viewing pleasure.  You can find them on the Android & Windows Phone wallpaper page here on the site and be prepared, they are awesome.

Android & Windows Phone Wallpapers

This morning I’ve uploaded another round of wallpapers to the Android and Windows Phone wallpaper page here on the site.  This time I’ve uploaded the Sony Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z5 stock wallpapers that come on these great Android devices.  In total you’ll find 39 new wallpapers from these devices on the page, adding to the Lenovo Vibe X2 wallpapers that I posted yesterday.  As always, these wallpapers are free to download and use on your devices or repost.

Android & Windows Phone Wallpaper Page

Just a few hours ago the final Android Marshmallow preview was released and now you can download the official wallpapers from the release.  In total there are nine wallpapers that came in the release and I’ve got them all for you to download on the Wallpaper page.

Collecting first release wallpapers is somewhat of a hobby for many Android enthusiasts but the same is true for iOS and Windows Phone users too.  Each OEM seem to have a unique set of wallpapers that they release with their devices and of course Google is going to release their own with a new build of Android, just like Apple does with iOS.

Over the weekend I added 15 new wallpapers to the wallpaper page here on the site.  These are a collection of some I have found as I scurry about the Web that I like and I hope you do to.  This morning I’ve added even more to the page by uploading 54 new ones.  That brings the total up to 119 on the page ranging from mountains to city streets and even a leopard or two.  I make no claim to authorship on most of these.  In fact there are about 15 of the 119 that I’ve actually created.  I’ve tried to give credit where due but in some cases that’s not possible.
