The uniquely Windows Phone app Office Lens has been updated and it brings some nice improvements to an already great app. If you aren’t familiar with it, Office Lens for Windows Phone allows you to snap a photo of a flip chart, wallboard or piece of paper from virtually any angle and it will straighten it and to give you a front looking view. It’s one of those PFM (Pure Frickin’ Magic) apps because when you see it in action for the first time, you’ll be blow away.

the ongoing process of tweaking and updating the algorithms within the app, particularly around document scanning. Now personally I’ve not run into any issues with the document scans I have done with the app so I didn’t have any complaints anyway. Still, never hurts to see improvements being made.
Second, you can now select which folder you want captures from Office Lens for Windows Phone to be stored in your OneDrive storage. The app has always stored your captures in OneNote but now you can tell it where specifically. For those of us who like our OneNote folders and files in a certain way, this is great news.
