While we are still a couple of weeks away from the official announcement of the Huawei P20, the follow up to last year’s awesome P10, we pretty much know everything there is to know about it.  Now, thanks to the folks at XDA, we also have all of the wallpapers that are going to be coming on the new phone.

In all, there are 12 wallpapers that will ship with the P20.  All are 1080 x 2160 in size which is an 18:9 ratio.  That doesn’t mean however you can’t use them on any phone with a bit of pinch-and-pull resizing on your screen.  I’ve added all of the wallpapers to this post in thumbnails as well as to the Wallpaper page here on the site.  To save those who aren’t interested, I’ve put them after the break so they don’t have to download them.

The fourth and final beta of Chrome 65 has been released to testers in the Chrome OS Beta Channel.  The update is build 65.0.3325.148 (Platform version: 10323.52.0) and should be available to everyone who is running a device in the beta channel.

Given that the Chromium team has pegged March 13th as the release date of Chrome 65 for Chrome OS, this could well end up being the Stable Channel build that is released next Tuesday.  For those new to Chrome OS, the beta channel is the last channel a new build comes to prior to being released in the Stable channel.

Google Assistant is one again getting a number of big features and improvements starting today.   The announcement came as Google prepares its South By Southwest (SXSW) presence which, like Mobile World Congress last month, will be heavily focused on Assistant.  To help kick it off, they have announced two major features.

First, you will soon be able to subscribe to Actions in Google Assistant and get notifications for them. This may sound familiar as you can subscribe and get notifications in Assistant for things like the weather already.  This new feature however, would allow you to subscribe to a service that gives you stock price changes or a news alert that is not from Google themselves.  They used the example of Esquire which can give you wisdom tips for the day.  Soon you will be able to get those wisdom tips in Assistant daily without having to ask for them.

A new cloud-side update to Microsoft Translator for Android is rolling out that brings support for six new languages.  So long as you have the latest version of the app installed, version 3.2.254, then you will have the new languages available to you.  These new text-to-speech languages include:

• Bulgarian
• Croatian
• Malay
• Slovenian
• Tamil
• Vietnamese

These additions bring the total number of text-to-speech languages supported to 36 in Microsoft Translator.
