As expected, Microsoft has announced their first Microsoft branded Lumia Windows powered phone, the Lumia 535. The 5″ display budget friendly phone sports some pretty nice features for a budget phone and is expected to be launched in Hong Kong, China and Bangladesh shortly.
- 5-inch IPS LCD (960 x 540)
- 1.2 GHz quad-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 200
- 1 GB RAM
- 8 GB storage
- MicroSD card support (Up to 128 GB)
- 1905 mAh battery
- 5 MP rear camera
- 5 MP front-facing camera
The two things that stick out to me are the 5MP front facing camera which is the same as the one found in the Lumia 735 and the
nicely sized 1905 mAh battery which should give all day performance. The 8GB of storage isn’t great but with the ability to put a 128GB MicroSD card in it should eliminate any storage concerns.
The Lumia 535 will come in two varieties, a single SIM and a dual SIM version. Either version will support 3G but will not support LTE.
