The NCAA March Madness Live app for Windows Phone and for Windows PC has been update for the upcoming 2015 tournament along with a load of other features. The app, which will allow you to watch every game of the tournament through logging in with your television provider. Regardless of if the game is on TBS, CBS (which doesn’t require a login), TNT or truTV, you can stream every game and watch every buzzer beater, upset and Cinderella story this year. The update, version 220.127.116.11 for those keeping score at home, also brings a refreshed user experience along with the new features.
The biggest change in the app over the 2014 version is the User Interface. It is a much more modern Windows experience and functions much smoother than last years first run at the app. In
addition to that new UI, there are all new team pages for every team in the tournament. This will let you follow your favorite team throughout the tournament and also learn about some of the potential Cinderallas in your team’s bracket.
In addition, there is a new section that allows you to see the best storylines from the tournament this year along with the ability to relive NCAA March Madness classic moments throughout it’s history. Finally, and some may say the most important feature, is the ability to pick your brackets on your Windows Phone. You can chose between a list view for quick picking or you can do a traditional look-and-feel bracket view.
The NCAA March Madness Live app for Windows and Windows Phone is free but you will need to log in with your television provider credentials to view the live stream games on TBS, TNT or truTV. Most major cable and satellite providers are supported so you should be good-to-go. To watch the CBS broadcasted games is free.
The selections for the NCAA March Madness tournament happens on Sunday, March 15th and the first round starts on March 17th.
