The value priced but powerful BLU Win HD LTE Windows Phone has made its way to the Microsoft Store and is priced at $199 unlocked. If you don’t remember, this new phone was announced just before MWC this year and is the latest in the lineup from BLU Windows Phones aimed at giving solid mid-range features at an attractive price. This new phone also eliminates one of the complaints with the BLU Win HD which is that it did not support LTE bands for higher download speeds so at $199, it is a great deal for what it has to offer.
The specs of the BLU Win HD LTE are not bad and certainly will get you a lot of phone for your money. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Quad-Core processor running at 1.2GHz which isn’t much to right home about on the surface but as we all know, Windows Phone does a great job of managing CPU cycles so you shouldn’t have any speed issues there. It has 1GB of RAM,
8GB of onboard storage which can be expanded up to an additional 32GB with a MicroSD card. It has a 5″ IPS display that renders at 720×1280 with 294 DPI, an 8MP autofocus main camera and a 2MP front facing camera. It is also a dual-SIM phone and supports the following bands for 3G and 4G coverage:
- 3G: 850/1700/1900/2100
- 4G LTE: 700/1700/2600
One thing to notes is that the BLU Win HD LTE comes with Windows Phone 8.1 and it will be eligible for upgrade to Windows 10 when it is released later this summer.
The phone is available in Grey, White, Yellow and Orange and all are $199.
