Dead Trigger 2 Comes to Windows Phone With 600 Zombie Killing Scenarios

To say that Dead Trigger 2 is popular is a slight understatement.  Between iOS and Android downloads, the Zombie first-person shooter has been downloaded over 33 million times and now we can start adding Windows Phone downloads to that count.  The game made its debut in the Windows Phone store today after a few weeks of teasing from developer Madfinger Games and it is nothing short of awesome.

Dead Trigger 2 brings you a post-zombie infestation where you have to work with other survivors to meet objectives and kill the zombie hordes.  To do that you have 10 different regions of the world made up of 33 unique environments.  In all there are 600 game play scenarios and to do your zombie killing you have 37 different weapons to choose from in the game.  It is certainly a complex and engrossing game but not overly so.  In addition to this, you can compete in tournaments and win real world prizes.

What makes Dead Trigger 2 amazing is the story line but the graphics to go along with it.  The detail is amazing and you will see things like real time water reflections,

vegetation that moves dynamically and of course the various scenes that you find yourself in while in the game.  One of the things I loved about the game on iOS was the graphics and I’m really glad to see them make it into the Windows Phone build.

With any type of FPS, controls become really critical, especially on a smartphone.  The movements in Dead Trigger 2 and controls are smooth and easy to use.  Basically you use your right thumb to look around while you use your left thumb to move through the game by default.  Shooting or attacking of zombies is also on automatic (just turn to aim your gun and you will automatically start shooting) but both of these can be adjusted to your liking.  The game also supports MOGA
