Real Racing 3, arguably one of the best racing simulators for mobile platforms, has received another big update this month that brings a whole host of new cars, challenges and events. Amongst those update is the new Lamborghini Huracana LP 610-4 which for most of us, let’s be honest, is the closest we will ever get to driving the real thing. Not a Lambo fan? No problem as you can also try your driving skills in an Aston Martin Vulcan, Koenigsegg Regera and the McLaren MP4-12C Spyder.
If you are looking to drive a hyper-car, this game has it for you.
This update to Real Racing 3 is big at 48MB but certainly not as big as some of the updates in the past. Still, you will want to make sure you are on Wi-Fi to do the download so you don’t eat up your data plan. For those keeping score at home, this update take the game to version 4.0.3.
Along with the new cars in this update, there are also new challenges that are going on throughout December that you can participate in and win gold (the in-game currency) and even cars.
- New Gauntlet challenge with many fantastic rewards! Starts Dec 1.
- Ride the Storm – win the Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4. Starts Dec 10.
- Reign Supreme – get the 2016 Koenigsegg Regera. Starts Dec 24.
- Speedrush TV – win the 2013 McLaren 12C Spider. Starts Jan 3.
Finally, the Electronic Arts team has made some improvements around Racing Teams. There you will find extra rewards, new team goals, and the ability to search teams.
If you have not checked out Real Racing 3 in the past, it is a great racing simulator that takes place with real cars on real tracks throughout the world. It is a free game but there are plenty of in-app purchases to make ranging from .99 Cents to an eye water $99.99. While you can get pretty far in the game with regular playing and winning without making purchases, be warned that at some point to get a car needed for an event or upgrades that you will have to spend a bit of real money.
