As required on new Chrome OS devices, the ASUS Chromebox 3 is equiped with a USB-C port (USB 3.1 Gen 1 standard) and will support Android apps out of the box.  You have both wireless and wireless connectivity as an option and, along with the HDMI suppot, there is also a DisplayPort connection.

The current Chromebox 2 is $340 and is powered by the Intel i3, has 4GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.  It is likely that the i5 will be the minimum in the Chromebox 3 along with 32GB of storage and you can probably expect a price tag closer to $400.  We’ll know for sure in a few months time.
