HTC One M8 Windows Phone Comes to T-Mobile US

The HTC One M8 Windows Phone is now available from T-Mobile in the United States for $0 if you sign up for a 2 year contract.  It is the second carrier in as many weeks to pick up the latest Windows Phone offering from HTC after the M8 was exclusive to Verizon over the summer.  Last Friday the phone made its debute on AT&T.

AT&T Windows Phone Options Doubles This Week

The AT&T Windows Phone options for customers and those looking to move to the carrier will take a nice step forward this week.  Yesterday the carrier announced that the Microsoft Lumia 830 and HTC One M8 Windows Phone will both be making their debut on the their network on Friday, November 7th.  Customers will have the choice of no less than four Windows Phone devices with AT&T, with the Lumia 635 and Lumia 1520 to the lineup.

HTC One M8 Windows Launched

As has been expected for several weeks now, HTC made a big push back into Windows Phone today with the announcement of the HTC One M8 Windows.  The new phone, available on Verizon in the United States and to other carriers later this year, is identical to the Android-based M8 and brings all the 5″ display goodness of that device to our favourite Little OS That Could.

Spec wise the HTC One W8 is identical to the M8.  It is the same hardware and there has even been speculation that if you were able to bootstrap the phone you could load either Android or Windows Phone onto the device.  The W8 features the same 5″ high resolution display as the M8, BOOM sound and even brings the Dot Case clock to the phone, something that is unique to the M8 until now.

HTC One W8 Specs Confirmed – What Do You Think?

Tonight the team over at WP Central exclusively posted all the specifications of the anticipated HTC One W8.  When I saw the notification pop up, I immediately jumped on it and read it.  Pretty exciting stuff.  But I was eating sushi and not much gets in the way between me and sushi.  So now that I’ve had my sushi, rather than simply re-post what WPC posted, I’ll provide you a link to what I’m referring to in case you missed it.

Now my question to all of you is simple:  Do you care?  And perhaps equally as important, do you trust HTC to stay in the Windows Phone game with the HTC One W8 – or whatever the call it?  I ask in all seriousness because given HTC’s track record, they may have a public perception problem to overcome regardless of how awesome the W8 looks.
