Each June, for the last 92 years, a 24 hour endurance race is held in Le Mans, France.  While the cars and circuit has changed over the years, it remains one of the most loved and hardest fought endurance races each year.  Like in years past, you can race the Circuit de la Sarthe virtually thanks the team over at Electronic Arts and FireMonkey in Real Racing 3.  The popular racing game has been updated once again (version 3.4.0 for those keeping score at home) to bring some of the World Endurance cars that will be racing in the 2015 24 Hours of Le Mans along with challenges to compete in and complete during the next few days.

Tiny Troopers Comes to Windows on your Tablet or PC

Tiny Troopers, the top-down army assault game, has migrated from Windows Phone to Windows PC today.  Tiny Troopers features 30 explosive missions spread across three chapters, all tied together into an involving, narrative-driven campaign. Your troops will get stronger and more battle hardened the more missions they survive. Can you keep your squad alive through the whole war?  It’s a fun game and one that I’ve have spent hours playing on my Lumia 1320.

Cut The Rope 2 Finally Makes Its Way to Windows Phone

A bit of good news on the app front for Windows Phone.  Cut The Rope 2, a game which has been available for well over a year on Android and iOS, has made its way to the Little OS That Could.  The free game is identical to the game on the other platforms and is a sequel to the original game where you help the main character Om Nom get to the candy by cutting ropes to swing him into the position to get the candy.  It sounds easy but there are some levels of the game that are mighty difficult.

Angry Birds Seasons Updated with New NBA Ham Dunk Episode

My personal favorite version of the Angry Birds franchise, Angry Birds Seasons, has received a new 15 level episode honoring the NBA, aptly named NBA Ham Dunk.  The new update also brings the game up to version 5.0.0 for those keeping score at home.  It is the latest free update to the game which now sports hundreds of levels for hours (and literally I mean it) of entertainment on your Windows Phone.

Age of Empires Castle Siege Gets Another Big Update for Windows and Windows Phone

Age of Empires Castle Siege, the medieval civilization building game, has received another major update from Microsoft Studios.  The game gets one of these about every month and this one is certainly an important one to get. The update is for both Windows and Windows Phone (remember, it is a universal app) and brings several game play improvements as well as a host of bug fixes.

The two biggest changes amongst them as a player is the decrease in resource producing things like farms and mills build time so you can start collecting resources faster while the other is the increased length of peace treaties so there is a longer time between attacks on your empire.  This later is important if you are away from the game a day or two.  The update, version 1.6.1.43 for those keeping score at home, is available now in both the Windows and Windows Phone Stores.

Dead Trigger 2 Comes to Windows Phone With 600 Zombie Killing Scenarios

To say that Dead Trigger 2 is popular is a slight understatement.  Between iOS and Android downloads, the Zombie first-person shooter has been downloaded over 33 million times and now we can start adding Windows Phone downloads to that count.  The game made its debut in the Windows Phone store today after a few weeks of teasing from developer Madfinger Games and it is nothing short of awesome.
