Toshiba Announces The Encore 2 Write Windows Tablet with Wacom Pen Support

Toshiba has kicked off CES 2015 with the announcement of the Encore 2 Write, a new 8″ and 10″ Windows tablet that will support Wacom Pen technology.  The new tablets, which are strikingly similar to the Encore 2 from this year, will have support for what Toshiba is calling TruPen.  TruPen uses Wacom Feel technology which gives 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity.  The chassis of the Encore 2 Write does have a clip at the bottom for storage of the pen.

Lumia 830 Unlocked Now Available At the Microsoft Store for $499

For the first time you can now get a Lumia 830 unlocked from the Microsoft Store for only $499.  The “Affordable Flagship” phone has to this point only been available either on or off contract from AT&T but today it because truly unlocked for anyone user on any network.  The $499 price is only $50 more than what you can get it off-contract from AT&T at the Microsoft store.

HP Announces The HP Stream Mini Desktop Windows PC – Only $179

In addition to the HP Mini Desktop Windows PC that HP announced today before CES, they also announced the HP Stream Mini Desktop Windows PC.  The Stream lineup of budget tablets and laptops have been a huge hit this past holiday seasons with their solid performance and features and exceptionally good build quality.  It only makes sense then that HP add a Stream version of the Mini Desktop PC.  The best part, little guy is only going to cost $179 when it is available next week.

HP Announces The Pavilion Mini Desktop PC – Only $319

HP has announced several new things already for CES 2015, one of which is the Pavilion Mini Desktop Windows PC.  This small footprint PC has impressive specs and will be an incredible $319 when it is available later this month.  HP has done an impressive job with their products and price points these past few months and the Pavilion Mini is no exception.

Microsoft Launches The Nokia 215 Feature Phone

Today Microsoft announced a new feature phone, the Nokia 215.  This Internet ready phone is a new design and aimed at connecting more people than ever before with the price of the device starting at only $29.00.  For what the Nokia 215 offers, it is pretty impressive but I have to ask:  At that price, why not get a Lumia 520 Windows Phone ?
