HTC 10 Starts Shipping In The US This Week

HTC’s Senior Manager of Online Communications, Jeff Gordon, dropped a nice bit of news for those who are here in the United States wanting an HTC 10.  The latest flagship from the company will start shipping this week, unlocked, according to Gordon’s tweet.

It is great news for those who have been wanting to get the device unlocked and not with a carrier commitment.  While the Tweet did not give any indication on shipping times, it is good to know that orders can happen this week.

Today marks the first birthday of Project Fi, Google’s MVNO solution supported by T-Mobile and Sprint.  A year ago today the company announced the carrier solution that at the time was only supported by the then new Nexus 6.  Since then, the service has grown to support the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X and has added a data-only service for certain tablets.

Download The HTC 10 Wallpapers

While we are still a few weeks away from the launch of the new HTC 10 from HTC, the leaks around this device have been, well, more like a stream than a leak.  When it does launch on April 12th, I suspect there won’t be much mystery to it over than the final specs of the camera (which have been touted as “world class” by HTC) and the price.  One thing you don’t have to wait on however are the wallpapers from the device.  The stock four wallpapers that are coming on the device are right here and ready for download.

Blackberry Priv Finally Makes It To Verizon

After debuting on AT&T some four months ago, the Blackberry Priv is finally making its way to Verizon.  You can now order the Blackberry flagship device and their first running Android on the Verizon website while in store purchasing will be coming on Friday, March 11th throughout the United States.  Online, the carrier is offering the Priv for $30 per month for 24 months (a total of $720) or you can buy it outright for $720.

Today over on Amazon, you can pick up a great deal on the Alcatel IDOL 3.  The 5.5″ display device comes unlocked and ready to work on GSM carriers here in the United States for only $179.99.  That is $100 off the retail price of the phone and while it was recently replaced with the IDOL 4, it is still an outstanding device for this price.  The IDOL 3 will work with both AT&T and T-Mobile so you will have 4G LTE coverage and it comes with a US warranty so you have some support should anything ever go wrong with it.
