HTC Offering Big Savings Today on Nexus 9, M9 and RE Camera

Today only over at HTC, they have a huge sale going on their most popular devices and accessories that are really impressive.  While supplies last or the end of the day today, you can get 25% off the M9 Android Phone, 40% off the Nexus 9 Android tablet, 50% off the RE Camera and 50% off accessories for these devices.  That means you can pick up the Nexus 9 tablet for example for as low as $239.40.

While HTC as a whole has been struggling, they do make some outstanding devices and their build quality is great.  I’ve had plenty of their devices over the years and they always held up well to my daily wear-and-tear.

Watch The OnePlus 2 Launch On Your Current Android Phone

Unquestionably, one of the most anticipated device launches of 2015 happens today.  At 10:00 PM EDT (7:00 PM PDT) the all new OnePlus 2 from OnePlus will be launched in a virtual reality event that will be streamed from Hong Kong.  The good news is even if you did not get your hands on the seemingly rare OnePlus VR cardboard glasses, you can still watch the event on your current Android phone with the OnePlus 2 Launch app in the Play Store.

Product launches tend to be the same. An auditorium, a keynote, and a seated audience. For the OnePlus 2 launch, we didn’t want a barrier between us and our community; we want to invite you into our world, because you’re a major part of it. That is why we will be unveiling the OnePlus 2 in a VR experience. Starting July 27 at 7:00pm PST, everyone around the world can stream our launch

Clearly OnePlus is wanting anyone and everyone to watch the event and considering it and the app are free, why not?

Layout From Instagram Now Lets You Add Borders to Your Collages

The collage making app for Instagram, Layout from Instagram, has been updated with a new feature that allows you to add borders to your photos in your collage.  Previously the app would let you put your collage together but there were no borders available between your photos.  That changes now and a small white border is between each photo if you chose to add it.

This latest update is build 1.2.2 for those keeping score at home and as the name suggest, Layout from Instagram only works with Instagram.  Once you create your collage you can post it to your Instagram feed from the Instagram app.
