Download the LG V30 Wallpapers

The LG V30 was announced earlier this morning and now you can download the official wallpapers for LG’s latest flagship phone.

In all, there are 22 wallpapers that come with the V30 and I’ve added them all to the wallpaper page.  After the break, I’ve also added them to this post for those who are interested.  As I always do, I display them in a lower resolution to speed things up but when you click on the wallpaper, you will get the full 2880 x 1440 image.

As you would expect, all of the wallpapers for the V30 are in a 18:9 ratio so if you have a phone that renders at that ratio, they will work perfectly.  For other, smaller ratio phones, you’ll have a bit of a cropped image.

As a reminder,  6″ display is a QHD P-OLED display that renders 2880 x 1440 in a 18:9 ratio.  That gives you a very eye comforting 538ppi.    LG refers to the display as FullVision which is their term for a near bezel-less experience.  The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 835 SoC with 4GB of RAM.  This is coupled with either 64GB or 128GB of storage depending on the variant you pick up.  That storage can be expanded up to an additional 2TB thanks to the MicroSD slot.

Download the Essential Phone Wallpapers

Last week, the Essential Phone, the PH-1, became available for both those who had pre-ordered as well as those who want to pick one up.  The unlocked variant of the phone is $699 through the Essentials site.  You can also purchase it through Amazon for the same price but orders placed at the online retailer won’t ship until September 1st.

While you are waiting for your PH-1 to arrive, you can at least have the benefit of the stock wallpapers that come with the phone on your current device.  Over on the wallpaper page, I’ve added all six of the default wallpapers for you to freely download and use on your devices.  I’ve also added them to this post after the break so those who want to move along can do so without having to download them.

The six wallpapers are a mix of scenic views and abstract images, all of which look great.

New Paranoid Android Wallpapers from Hampus Olsson

Artist Hampus Olsson has released a set of six new wallpapers in support of the latest update to Paranoid Android.  For those who may not know Olsson’s work, he is the artist behind the colorful and creative wallpapers for OnePlus and Paranoid Android.  Chances are you have seen them, you just may not know the creator behind them.

The new wallpapers are available on his site and you can download them directly from there for all your devices, even if you aren’t running Paranoid Android.  He also has other artwork and wallpapers available on his site and a bit of history on his creative works.  You will also see the extensive list of clients he has who use his artwork.

Download the OnePlus 3T Wallpapers

With the announcement of the OnePlus 3T yesterday, a whole new set of outstanding wallpapers also were made known.  OnePlus has always had pretty awesome wallpapers, created by artist Hampus Olsson for them (he also does the wallpapers for Paranoid Android).  The set of 5 wallpapers are all beautifully done and fit well with the theme that OnePlus has had on the wallpapers for all of their devices.

I’ve posted all five of the wallpapers after the break for those who are interested.  If you aren’t, no problem and I’ve saved you a bit of loading time.  I do encourage everyone however to check out the Wallpaper page here on the site as there are nearly 100 there for your devices.

The New Nexus’ Wallpapers for 2016

With the new Nexus phones from HTC coming later this year, there is already a fair amount of anticipation of what these two phones, code named Marlin and Sailfish, will bring.  But, for those who like wallpapers, the papers for these two new phones have already been leaked.  Thanks to the team over at Android Police, you can now download 15 new wallpapers for your devices today.  There is a nice mix of themes in them – aquatic, wildlife and fractals – and all look pretty darn spiffy.  I have re-posted the wallpapers here and you can see all of them after the break.  However, you can download from the original source here if you want to do so.

Download The Galaxy Note 7 Wallpapers

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to be released by the end of this month but you can already download all of the stock wallpapers that will come on the device.  In total there are nine available and you can download them here on the site.  The wallpapers are a mix of the classic Samsung wave wallpapers that we have come to know on other devices along with a few colored lines against a black background.  All of them look pretty good, adding a bit of new and a bit of staying with what has worked in the past.

I’ve put thumbnails of each of the papers here in the article after the break to speed up loading times for those who aren’t interested in them.

Download The New Android N Preview 3 Wallpapers

As part of the 3rd Developer Preview of Android N, four new wallpapers made their way into release.  The better news is you can download them all here on the site.  The new wallpapers continue the trend of having natural scenes for wallpapers and all four of them are beautiful.  Three of the four are beach/surf scenes while the fourth is a close up texture image.  They look great on phones and tablets and are all 2880 x 2560 resolutions for your large screen devices.

To save everyone who isn’t interested from having to have the page render, I’ve added the images after the break.  You can tap on each one then right-click to save it or you can visit the wallpaper page and check out the hundreds of wallpapers I have over there.

What is interesting to this point is that there have been no Material Design wallpapers in any of the Previews so far.  All five of the wallpapers in N have been nature scenes so it will be interesting to watch if a new Material wallpaper or set of them comes when the final build of N is released later this year.

Enjoy these new wallpapers on all of your devices and given their size, you may even find them pretty nice to view on your PC, Mac or Chromebook too.
