Deal – Sony Xperia XZ2 Down to $699 at Amazon

Today’s Deal is on the well appointed Sony Xperia XZ2.  This 5.7″ display phone with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is down to $699 at Amazon right now.  That’s a savings of $100 off the regular price.  The Xperia XZ2 is the latest generation of the Sony Xperia lineup and was launched back in April after being announced at Mobile World Congress in February.

As a reminder about some of the key specs of the Sony Xperia XZ2, it is powered by the Snapdragon 845 SoC, hs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage built-in.  That storage can be expanded up to 400GB thanks to the MicroSD card slot.  It is equipped with a 19MP f/2.0 rear camera that can shoot an incredible 960 fps slow motion video, and a 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera on the front.  Display wise, the Xperia XZ2 has a 5.7″  Full HD+ display that renders 1080 x 2160 and is an 18:9 ratio.  It is also HDR.

Deal – Google Pixelbook Down to $757 at Amazon ($241 Off)

There is a lot of evidence suggesting that we are about to see a Google Pixelbook 2, including a leak from the ever reliable Evan Blass.  But another indicator that we are about to see an update to the Pixelbook lineup is the current generation of the Chromebook continues to drop in price.

Right now at Amazon, Google is selling all three of the current generation configurations of the Google Pixelbook as well as the Pixelbook Pen for far less than their original prices.

If you have a Pixelbook and have been thinking about picking up the Pixelbook Pen, now’s the time for that too.  Right now it is down to $88, a savings of $10.

Deal – Huawei Mate 10 Pro Down to $550 at Amazon ($250 Off)

After having their flagship phone on sale for Amazon Prime Day last week, Huawei has lowered the price of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro once again.  While it isn’t as good as the Prime Day deal, it is a hefty savings for those considering it.  Normally the 6″ phablet is $799 now through June 30th you can pick one up on Amazon for just $549.  And this isn’t a stripped down version either.  It has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage.  The $549 price represents the lowest price by far that has been available on the Mate 10 Pro here in the US.

reviewed the Huawei Mate 10 Pro earlier this year and as I put in that review, it is one of the best phones out there right now.  Huawei has done a fantastic job with the overall design of the phone and the Android Oreo built EMUI 8 user experience is excellent.

Today’s Deal – Sony Xperia XA1 Down to $180 on Amazon, Normally $299

The solid mid-range phone from Sony, the Sony Xperia XA1, is now on sale at Amazon for a pretty stunning price.  Right now you can pick up the XA1 in black for just $180.  That is a savings of $119 off the normal $299 price, or 40% off depending on how you want to look at it.  The best part is, this is the US warranty backed variant of the phone, not the International version that often goes on sale at Amazon.

The Sony Xperia XA1 made its debut in May of last year and earlier this year it, along with most of the rest of the Sony 2017 phone lineup, was updated to Android Oreo.  Sony, for their part, does a pretty solid job of getting updates out to their various phones.

Today’s Deal – Google Pixelbook with Pixelbook Pen is $987 at Amazon

Today’s Deal is a great opportunity to pick up the Goggle Pixelbook along with the Pixelbook Pen.  Right now at Amazon, you can pick up the combination of the two for $987.  That is less than what the Pixelbook along normally costs.  This is the lowest price for the combination that I’ve seen for the premium Chromebook since its release.

The price is for the Intel i5 powered unit with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.  It is certainly powerful enough to do anything you would need, be it in Chrome OS or Android apps running on the device.

Today’s Deal – RAVPower 22000mAh Power Pack for $37

Today’s Deal over at Amazon is a great opportunity to pick up a huge external power pack for your phones and tablets without dropping a lot of cash.  The RAVPower 22000mAh Power Pack is available today for $37.39, a savings of 70% off the regular price of $99.99.  The pack, despite its huge battery, is relatively small at roughly the size of an iPhone 7 Plus and has 3 USB ports for charging three devices at the same time.  In fact, you can get 5 charges of your Galaxy S7 out of this RAVPower pack and an amazing 9 charges of an iPhone 6S.  Each port of the pack can output 2.4A of power and uses RAVPower’s iSmart technology for fast, smooth and safe charging of your devices.

Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact Down to $399 in Black on Amazon

Today’s deal is on the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact.  The 2017 4.6″ phone, which was just updated to Android Oreo, is down to $399 on Amazon.  That price is for the black version of the phone and represents a $200 savings off of the original price.  That’s a great deal for those who are looking for a high quality, compact device.

The  Xperia XZ1 Compact has a 4.6″ full HD display (1920 x 1080) and is powered by the Snapdragon 835 SoC and coupled with the Adreno 540 GPU.  It has 4GB of RAM and has 32GB of storage.  That storage can be expanded up to an additional 256GB thanks to the MicroSD slot.

Today’s Deal – Essential Phone with The Essential Ear Buds Down to $449

Today’s Deal on the Essential Phone is pretty awesome all told.  First, the phone itself which just got upgraded to Android Oreo, is down to $449.  That’s the lowest price drop ever for the phone.  But, for a limited time, you also get the Essential Ear Buds for free.  That’s a $99 value itself so this deal is really good.  The deal is over at Amazon and you can get it for either the Black Moon or Pure White colors of the phone.

The PH-1 as it is known got off to a rocky start with most people loving the design but not so much when it came to the camera and overall stability.  That has changed, radically.  Essential has been pumping out updates at a steady clip for the phone and it is now one of the best flagship device options out there.  At this price, with the spendy ear buds included, it is a hard deal to pass up.
