Earlier this week I told you about a great deal running on eBay for the Nexus 5X.  That deal is still going and available in Quartz (white) for just $199.  That’s a savings of $150 off the regular price that you get from Google direct.  The phone is brand new, unlocked and is the 16GB model from a storage perspective.  While the price itself is outstanding, even better is that this device will see the Android Nougat update that was released earlier this week and is a bit future proof in that it will see Android O (yes, I went there) when it is released next year.

Today’s deal over at Amazon is on a great little Chromebook.  The Asus C201 has an 11.6″ display, 4GB of RAM and 16GB of storage and is currently down to $159.99 for the Navy Blue model.  Equally as important, when the Chrome OS 53 build is made public, the C201 is going to be able to take full advantage of it and run Android apps.  That makes this deal a bit sweeter.

The C201 is powered by the Rockchip rk3288 processor that runs at 1.8GHz and the 11.6″ display renders at 1366×768 and is an LED display.  Like most other Chromebooks, you have 3 USB ports (2x USB 2.0 and 1 USB 3.0), an HDMI port, a SD Card Reader and a 3.5mm headphone jack.  Overall, a solid package.

Today’s deal over at Amazon is a good one because it seems there is always a need for an extra USB thumb drive or two.  In this case, 10.  Today you can pick up the Enfain 16GB USB drive in a 10 pack for $35.99.  The drives come in a wide range of color options and all are USB 2.0 compatible in the pack.  With school starting (or having started) and the need to share files, this is a great deal to pick up so you can always have an extra drive laying about the house to give to the kids or transfer files to and from work and home.

Today’s Deal over at Amazon is a great one if you are looking for a charging dock for your USB Type-C devices.  Right now you can pick up the Archeer USB C Charging Dock for just $11, a savings of 72% off the normal $27.95 price.  The stand is designed to hold your Android phone charge it thanks to a connection on the back for a standard MicroUSB connector which you plug into an electrical source.  This won’t give you fast charging but, as it is designed to sit on your desk, fast charging may not be as big a deal for you.

Today’s Deal over at Amazon is on the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua.  This 5″ Android phone is down to $149 over at Amazon, a savings of over $50.  The phone is unlocked and is compatible with GSM carriers here in the US (AT&T and T-Mobile), it has 16GB of storage which can be expanded thanks to the MicroSD slot and is water IP68 certified against dust and water.  That means this phone is dust and water proof up to 1.5 meters deep for up to 30 minutes.  Powering the Xperia M4 is the Snapdragon 6.15 processor clocked at 1.5GHz with 2GB of RAM installed.  Perhaps the deal clincher for some readers will be the fact that Android Marshmallow is available for this phone.
